Pfizer vaccines are available at our practice. Bookings are available online or over the phone.

Appointments
You can book a face to face appointment if you meet the all of the below criteria:
- no flu like symptoms such as cough, cold, fever, sore throat
- you are not aware of being a close or casual contact of COVID-19
- will wear a mask at all times when inside the clinic
If you do not meet all the above criteria then please book a Telehealth appointment as the first step. Doctor may need to see you face to face after the phone consult and will advise you how and when to come in.
Having trouble getting through our phones?
We apologise or the inconvenience if it takes us longer than usual to answer your phone call. Unfortunately in the current situation, we often have less than usual staff working due to some staff being sick or isolating. We are trying to do our best and we have all our appointments, including face to face, telehealth and Pfizer vaccinations online. So if you need an appointment, our online system will direct you to the availabilities.
What do I do if I have tested positive to covid-19
All management of COVID-19 is by Queensland Health until further notice - COVID-19 positive patients will be contacted by a Queensland Health representative in due course.
In the meantime if you are concerned or need assistance, contact 13 42 68. If it is an emergency, contact 000.
If you have tested positive or are a close or casual contact of a COVID-19 positive patient and would like to discuss your health with your regular GP, please book a telehealth appointment only and DO NOT present to the practice. Thank you.

BOOSTER COVID-19 VACCINE
A Pfizer booster dose for patients over 16 years of age who have received their first two doses of COVID-19 vaccine has been recommended to give the most protection for the longest period of time. You should receive your booster dose 3 months after your second dose (as per ATAGI recommendations from 31st January 2022).
(Note: If you have received a third dose of COVID-19 vaccine as an immunocompromised patient, it is not recommended to get a booster as well.)

Children's Vaccines (Aged 5-11yrs)
Children aged 5-11 years will be able to receive their first COVID-19 vaccine from 10th January 2022. They should receive two doses with an interval of 8 weeks. Please note that ATAGI have only approved Pfizer vaccines for this age group. Online bookings are available.

DOSE 3 FOR IMMUNOCOMPROMISED PATIENTS
For patients who are severely immunocompromised, a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccination has been recommended. If you are severely immunocompromised, you should receive your third COVID-19 vaccine at 2 months after getting your second dose.
If you are unsure whether you should be receiving a third dose, feel free to book in to chat with your GP about it.
